Offering Professional Baseball Glove Repair, Sales and Relacing
Why relace a glove instead of replacing it?
Unlike bats, helmets and other equipment a baseball glove is a very personal part of a players equipment. Players spend many hours playing catch, bending it, shaping it into just the right condition that feels right for them. There is no way to replace that overnight.
As long as there is no major damage to the glove many players choose to have it repaired to like new condition. If anything, a broken in glove that has been relaced is better than new as the hard part is already done. It has been shaped to their liking. New laces will give a glove back the structure it needs to keep performing.
Services offered
Gloves are cleaned with a quality leather cleaner to remove not only the dirt but the buildup of perspiration that can damage a glove. After the gloves have thoroughly dried I use a conditioner such as Lexol (no oils) to restore the leather to its previous condition. Care is taken as not to use too much and make the glove heavy. Then the entire glove is relaced in one of many different colors we stock. I use nice thick laces that are guaranteed not to break for one year or I will replace the failed lace at no cost.
Gloves usually are completed and shipped back within 3 days. Longer times might be necessary depending on color choice and the number of gloves in your order.

What to expect after relacing?
When you receive your newly relaced glove it will feel stiffer than when you mailed it, and for good reason. The new laces will give the glove back the structure that was lost. Because of this there will be a small break in period with your glove again, but not as long as when brand new. This is normal and to be expected with any relacing job.
Have any quality used gloves for sale?
I am always on the lookout for quality used gloves. Examples would be Wilson A2000, A2k, A3000. Rawlings Heart of the Hide, Pro Preferred, or equivalent models by other manufacturers.
Gloves must not have any ripped or torn leather. Broken laces are ok as they can be replaced.
